About Me

My photo
Arghya
I was born in Calcutta (Presently Kolkata) & grew up in Midnapore. At that time ours was a molecular family with my uncles, aunts, cousins all together. It was a very happy joint family. But before completing my enjoyable & adorable childhood I was forced to go to school. But after spending three months in my first school, I ran out. I became the only drop out of our family. So my father took me to his school. It was a bengali medium free primary school in a remote village of Burdwan. It was very difficult to reach there, especially in rainy days. But somehow I managed to complete my study there. Then I was admitted in a near by high school at fifth standard. Day by day I got involved in a very common rat race encouraged by my surrounding well wishers. I successfully avoided all these & completed my tenure. Again I had to move to near by town Katwa for my higher studies. After getting bachelor degree with honors in Chemistry from the University of Burdwan, I moved to IIT Madras for my M.Sc. in Chemistry. I completed my masters in 2008. Since then I'm doing my research in Materials Science in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata.
